Job summary

American House Senior Living Communities is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant (RA) to support seniors with daily living activities, monitor changes, and help create a warm, welcoming community.

You will participate in activities, assist with meals, mobility, and personal care, while following individualized care plans and maintaining safety.

Qualifications

  • Previous caregiving, senior living, or healthcare experience required.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25–50 lbs as needed for resident care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and report observations to leadership.
  • Encourage resident engagement in activities, programs, and social events.
  • Follow individualized care plans to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in resident apartments and common areas.
  • Support residents with meals, hydration, and light housekeeping.
  • Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
  • Support new resident orientation and help them feel welcome in the community.

Job Summary

As a Resident Assistant (RA) at American House, you will play a critical role supporting seniors, enriching their lives, and helping them live their best life. The meaningful relationships you develop will help you support the daily care needs of the residents and support community activities while creating a safe, warm and welcoming environment.-

What You’ll Do
