Job summary

American House Senior Living Communities is seeking a PRN Resident Assistant in Michigan to support residents with daily living activities and wellbeing. You will help residents maintain independence, participate in community life, and ensure a warm, safe living environment under RN/LPN supervision.

Ideal candidates bring a compassionate approach, teamwork, and prior caregiving or healthcare experience, with ability to lift light to moderate loads.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility
• Monitor changes in resident condition and report observations to leadership
• Encourage engagement in activities, programs, and social events
• Follow individualized care plans to provide high-quality, person-centered care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in apartments and common areas
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and light housekeeping
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
• Assist with new resident orientation and welcome them to the community

Job Summary

As a Resident Assistant (RA) at American House, you will play a critical role supporting seniors, enriching their lives, and helping them live their best life.
