Job summary

Great Lakes Management is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant in Minnesota for AM and NOC shifts. The role provides hands-on care, including ADLs, emotional support, and engagement with residents.

You’ll communicate with residents, families, and the care team, documenting daily activities and helping maintain residents’ independence. Qualifications include six months in long-term care and CNA/HHA eligibility; shift differentials and a 401(k) match are offered to support your growth and

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living.
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated on the individualized service agreement.
• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement.
• Observe clients and report changes in physical and emotional condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands-on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident’s service agreement. Responsible for effectively communicating with residents, families, and notifying the case manager of any changes in condition or concerns. The Resident Assistant assists in the dining room and participating in activities and outings.

Resident Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Assistresidents with ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) asindicatedon the individualized service agreement
• Help each resident to reach andmaintainthe highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
