Job summary

Great Lakes Management is seeking a Resident Assistant in Mankato, MN. This role offers day and evening shifts with a pay range of $18-$22 per hour. Part-time or full-time positions are available, including benefits such as 401(k) match, sick time, vacation, floating holidays, and DailyPay.

The RA provides hands-on care, assists with ADLs, and supports residents in activities and meals. Responsibilities include communicating with residents and families, coordinating with the case manager, and

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred)
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
• Ability to make responsible choices and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care, physical and emotional support as outlined in each resident’s service agreement
• Communicate effectively with residents and families, and notify the case manager of any changes
• Assist in dining room and participate in activities and outings
• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated in the service agreement
• Support residents to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence
• Provide treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement
• Observe clients and report changes in physical and emotional condition to the case manager
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection
• Complete required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, and communication book
