Join Cottagewood Senior Communities in Mankato as a Resident Assistant. We offer full-time day shifts, part-time day shifts, and part-time evening shifts with competitive pay and benefits. Great Lakes Management supports personal and professional growth within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include hands-on care, respectful communication with residents and families, and participation in activities. The role emphasizes safety, dignity, and quality of life for residents served.

Formación

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsabilidades

• Provide hands-on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident’s service agreement.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families; notify the case manager of changes or concerns.
• Assist in the dining room and participate in activities and outings.
• Assist residents with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated in the service agreement.
• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the service agreement.
• Observe clients and report changes to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, and communication book.
