Job summary

Arbor At The Lake Worth, part of The Arbor Company, seeks a Caregiver / Resident Assistant for part-time shifts (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) in Lake Worth, FL. You’ll assist residents with daily living, build meaningful relationships, and help them stay active in a homelike community.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of direct care experience; memory care a plus. Excellent communication and teamwork, compassionate and dependable.

• Memory care experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.

• Encourage residents to stay active and socially connected.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ well-being to the care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

What You'll Do

• Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and personal care.
• Building meaningful relationships with residents while providing compassionate, person-centered care.
• Encouraging residents to remain active, engaged, and socially connected.
• Observing and reporting changes in residents' physical, emotional, or cognitive well-being.
• Working collaboratively with nurses and fellow caregivers to provide exceptional care.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where residents feel at home.
• Supporting each resident with dignity, respect, and compassion.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED
• No certification or license required
• At least 6 months of experience as a Caregiver, Resident Assistant, CNA, HHA, PCA, PCT, DSP, or in a similar direct care role
• Memory Care experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care
