Job summary

The Arbor Company is seeking a Resident Assistant (Caregiver) at Arbor Terrace Acworth for a part-time evening shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). This role requires every-other-weekend work and offers meaningful care for residents in Assisted Living.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 6 months of experience in a caregiver/direct care role.
• Assisted Living or Memory Care experience is a plus.
• No current certification or license required.
• Compassionate heart, dependable work ethic, and passion for helping seniors.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, personalized care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families
• Encourage social engagement and participation in daily activities
• Promote resident independence while maintaining dignity and respect
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional well-being
• Help create a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment where residents can thrive
• Work closely with nurses and fellow caregivers to deliver exceptional care

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• No certification or license required
• Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Caregiver, Resident Assistant, CNA, HHA, PCA, PCT, DSP, or in a similar direct care role
• Assisted Living or Memory Care experience is a plus
• A compassionate heart, dependable work ethic, and passion for helping seniors
