Resident Aide / Care Partner

Location: 200 Jhf Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15217

Position Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Job Summary:

The Care Partner, as part of the direct service team, is responsible for assisting residents in maintaining their optimal level of functioning. He/she must understand and carry out the I’m Still Here™ philosophy of the Jewish Association on Aging and the Hearthstone Institute. The Care Partner must have a personal commitment to promote and advocate dignity, respect, individual rights, and a feeling of self-worth for each resident. Duties will encompass activities, medication arrangement, meal services, and personal care, but will not be limited to just these areas. He/she must have the ability to work independently and cooperatively with other disciplines. Flexibility in adapting to the changing needs of the residents is essential.

Required education, training and experience:

• High school diploma/GED or active status on PA nurse aide registry
• Must be at least 18 years of age
