Job summary

Oakwood Meadows Assisted Living in Citrus Heights, CA is hiring a Resident Aide/CNA to support residents with daily living activities, mobility, and social engagement. You will document daily activities and behaviors to help care plans.

We offer full-time hours, competitive pay ($20–$21 per hour for CNAs, $18–$20 for non-CNAs), benefits including 401(k), health and dental insurance, and paid time off. Weekend shifts available.

Qualifications

• CNA experience required or willingness to obtain CNA.
• Must be easily understood through verbal communication in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of caregiver/resident aide experience in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly with patience and compassion.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Help with physical mobility and safe transfers.
• Support social or recreational activities and engagement.
• Maintain daily charting of activities and behaviors for care plans.
