Job summary

Oakwood Meadows Assisted Living in Citrus Heights, CA is seeking an experienced Resident Aide to support residents with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care. You will help with social and recreational moments and maintain daily charting of activities and behaviors.

The role requires a High School diploma, at least 18 years old, and one year of caregiving experience. Shifts include AM and PM, holidays, and weekends in an in-person setting, with a compassionate approach to elder

Qualifications

• Must be a team player, able and willing to work well with others with a positive attitude.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be easily understood in English verbally.
• One year of experience as a Caregiver/Resident aide at a Residential Care Facility.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Desire to work with the elderly with patience and compassion.
• Good written and verbal communication with staff, physicians, residents, and families.
• Pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Resident Aide assists our residents in their day to day activities helping to ensure that all needs are met including, but not limited to activities of daily living, helping with physical mobility, social or recreational moments and daily charting of certain activities & behaviors, to name a few.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a team player, able and willing to work well with others all while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be able to be easily understood through verbal communication in the English language.
• Must have one (1) year of experience as a Caregiver/Resident aid at a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs, be patient & compassionate.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.
