Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Resident Aide to provide personal care and hygiene support in various facilities. You will work with physicians, RNs, LPNs, CNAs and aides to deliver high-quality patient care, while maintaining compassion and professionalism.

Position offers flexible assignments, same- or next-day pay, and comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k)/Roth, ESOP and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6 months of previous adult caregiving OR completion of a CNA course.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Care for personal care and hygiene of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and hospitals.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Support with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, and document any changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.
