We are a community of residents, staff, and volunteers working together to provide essential services for men and women experiencing homelessness in Greater Cincinnati.We are seeking a Resident Aide who is compassionate, dependable, and ready to make a difference in the lives of others. In this role, you will help create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents during their shelter stay.What You’ll DoWelcome new residents and provide orientation to shelter services, expectations, and available resources.Support residents with day-to-day needs by providing information, basic assistance, and access to supplies/services.Build positive relationships with residents while encouraging personal responsibility and participation in assigned chores and shelter groups.Accurately document resident interactions, incidents, and services in VESTA and other required systems.Monitor the shelter environment to help ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to community guidelines.Respond calmly and professionally in crisis or emergency situations.Partner with coworkers and leadership to provide quality resident care and support overall shelter operations.Complete additional duties as assigned by leadership.What We’re Looking For Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Availability to work 2nd ( 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm )or 3rd Shift.
