Solid Ground in Seattle seeks a Resident Advocate (RA) for Sandtos Place, a permanent supportive housing program delivering 24/7 housing stability and life skills support to families with children.

The RA works with the Case Manager to promote resident well-being, complete assessments, and ensure resources are accessible; duties include safety, documentation, and crisis intervention to help residents become self-sufficient and contributing members of the community.

Aufgaben

• Education & Support: assist in providing domestic violence education, parenting support, and other life skills to promote safety and well-being.
• Orientation: welcome new residents and provide an orientation to the program, including safety and security procedures and how to access services.
• Advocacy: promote cultural sensitivity and advocate for residents, coordinating mediation when needed.
• Safety: monitor the camera system and assist with access control for volunteers and residents.
• Organization: assist with clerical tasks and data entry into the client database.
