Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information to managers and employees.
• Activity Director certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct resident-centered activities for the facility.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and professional standards.
• Communicate clearly with staff, residents, families, and agencies.
• Develop monthly activity schedules including outings and in-room activities.
• Assist in surveys and prepare plans of action for deficiencies.
