Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma and certification as an Activity Director per state regulations.
• Demonstrates excellent creativity and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to document and implement detailed programs.
• Experience creating and implementing activity programs that meet social, emotional, physical, and therapeutic resident needs within a budget.

Responsibilities

• Document activity programs with detailed records and track resident participation against care plan goals.
• Perform resident activity histories and assessments per state and federal standards.
• Publish and distribute a monthly events calendar and facility newsletters to residents and families.
• Develop and maintain an active volunteer program to support activities.
