Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 2+ years in a patient activities program.
• Or enrolled in/holding a degree in Recreation, Gerontology, NHA, Nursing, or OT with a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in a health care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group activities in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in transporting residents to and from activities.
• Assist with planning and leadership of recreation programs.
• Promote facility programs to residents, staff, family and volunteers.
