Senior Lifestyle in Cortland, NY is seeking a friendly Resident Activities Assistant to support the Resident Program Director in creating and coordinating recreational and educational activities for residents.

You will help plan and coordinate activities, encourage participation, and arrange transportation when needed. No prior programming experience is required; a valid driver's license and clear English communication are essential.

• Have an active, valid driver’s license.
• You are excited and enthusiastic about fun activities and getting others to participate.
• You are extremely patient, helpful and flexible with others when explaining directions and answering questions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating all resident activities.
• Encourage residents to participate in programs and activities and provide transportation to them as needed.
• Lead various activities as directed by the Resident Programs Director.
• Order and maintain supplies for activities as needed.
