The candidate should have a high school degree or equivalent and regulatory certifications as required. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this full-time position

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Certification in accordance with regulatory agencies governing the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning and promoting recreation based on residents' needs and interests.
• Encourages social communication through group recreation.
• Provides programs of sensory training and re-socialization on group or individual basis.
• Assists residents with participation in religious programs.
• Assists with resident council activities and recreation calendar.
• Documents attendance and participation in programs; maintains related notes.
