King Manor is seeking an Activities/Recreation Aide to plan, organize and direct activity programs for residents. The role involves coordinating sports, crafts, drama, and social events to meet residents' needs.

You will prepare progress reports, assist with transportation to activities, and support a positive, compassionate atmosphere. Full-time with every-other weekend shifts and benefits include health coverage, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Certification per regulatory agencies governing the facility.
• Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and directing activity programs.
• Encourage social communication through group recreation.
• Maintain documentation of resident attendance and progress notes.
• Transport residents to recreation programs.
• Assist with volunteer programs and appreciation.
