Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services LLC in Edmonton, KY is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the Activity Director in planning and supervising daily resident activities. You will help coordinate programs, lead group events, and ensure that documentation and communication with families and the care team are thorough and timely.

This role requires at least one year of long-term care or assisted living experience, strong communication, and the ability to create engaging programs for residents.

Qualifications

• One year of long-term care or assisted living experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to produce stimulating programs.
• Strong communication and collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate stimulating activities programming.
• Create a strong and active volunteer program.
• Communicate regularly with resident families and the entire care team.
• Prepare and review monthly newsletter and activities calendar.
• Lead group activities.
• Report and document on resident’s progress.
• Visits with residents on a one-on-one basis as directed.
• Evaluate and reassess activity interventions based on the interdisciplinary plan of care and
• Ensure documentation meets compliance with regulatory standards.
• Reports to the Activity Director on residents’ responses and/or progress to specific
• Effectively manages the care of assigned patients using knowledge, skills, judgment, and
