Job summary

Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Webster is hiring full-time Activities Assistants to join our recreation team. The role supports planning and directing the recreation program to enhance residents’ well-being. Weekly pay at $16 an hour for a 40-hour week, with 8am-4pm shifts.

• Help coordinate and run events and activities programming.
• Build relationships with residents and learn about their interests to tailor programming to their desires.
• Organize group and individual programming.
• Generate ideas that will excite and encourage residents to participate in programming.
• Encourage residents to take part in activities that will stimulate his/her potential, physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually.
• Assist with and follow through on the establishment of resident care goals within the framework of the entire therapeutic team.
• Document and report any unusual or significant findings.
• Report all reportable events immediately.

We are hiring full-time Activities Assistants to join our creative and passionate recreation team at Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Webster!

Weekly pay at $16 an hour; 40 hours a week; Openings on 8a-4p.

As an Activities Assistant, you assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the recreation department to ensure that an ongoing program of activities designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and the physical, mental and psychosocial well-being of each resident is maintained.

Experience & Education:
