Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting or related field.
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
• NCCAP certification preferred or training to be completed within first year of hire.
• Experience with Point Click Care or similar software preferred.
• Strong organizational and written/spoken communication skills.
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Plan and support activities reflecting residents' interests and abilities.
• Design and facilitate engaging activities for individuals and groups.
• Support personalized activity programs to promote participation and enjoyment.
• Complete MDS/CAAs sections for Activity Department.
• Document assessments and progress notes accurately and on schedule.
• Collaborate with nursing and other departments to ensure activities run smoothly.
• Assist with the Volunteer Program as directed.
• Maintain consistent, reliable attendance as scheduled.
