Job summary

Health Here is seeking an Activities Assistant to support residents’ physical, social, and mental well-being in a skilled nursing environment. You will work with the Activities Director to craft monthly calendars, interview residents and families for preferences, arrange offsite transportation, and help run in-room and group activities.

You will document attendance, monitor mood and participation, report changes, and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless activity delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist Activities Director in creating and posting monthly calendars.
• Interview residents and families to determine preferences.
• Coordinate transportation for offsite trips.
• Support in-room and group activities and document attendance.
• Report changes in mood or participation and collaborate with other departments.
• Support Resident/Family Council meetings and involve families in planning.
