Job summary

603 Healthcare is seeking an Life Engagement Coordinator (Activities Assistant) to join our Cedar Healthcare Center team in New Hampshire. You will support the Activities Director by delivering recreational and wellness programs tailored to residents' interests and needs.

You'll help plan activities, accompany residents on outings, and maintain calendars and documentation while collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, creative, and energetic approach to working with residents.
• Ability to work independently while also being a supportive member of the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and facilitating group activities, individual visits, and recreational and wellness programs.
• Get to know residents and their families to better understand individual interests and encourage participation.
• Escort residents to activities and assist with community outings, appointments, and events.
• Help create and maintain monthly activity calendars.
• Document resident participation and response to activities.
• Observe and communicate changes in resident mood, behavior, or engagement.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to coordinate resident needs and activities.
• Help maintain organized and accessible activity supplies.
• Promote resident dignity, rights, confidentiality, safety, and infection-control practices.
• Participate in required training, safety drills, and quality-improvement activities.
