OPCO Skilled Management is seeking an individual to support the Activity Director in assessing, selecting, organizing, and implementing activity and recreational services for residents. The candidate should have high energy and enjoy engaging with residents to promote fun and meaningful engagement.

The role involves assisting in program development, volunteering coordination, and documentation in a long-term care setting, with opportunities to contribute to community activities and center events.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Activities Certification preferred.
• One-year experience working in long term care.
• Experience conducting social/recreational programs preferred.

Mansioni

• Assists in development and delivery of activity/recreational programs to promote resident engagement.
• Encourages resident participation in group and individual activities including arts/crafts, outings, and educational activities.
• Assists in completing activity documentation and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Submits supplies list and receipts for activity expenditures.
• Maintains precautions/limitations list on each resident.
• Assists in organizing and supervising volunteers, including training.
• Assists with Resident Council Meetings when necessary.
• Helps plan community activities involving staff, families, and residents.
• Contributes to monthly calendars of activities and posts them in the center.
