The Activity Assistant at Sherwood Oaks Post Acute Westlake Oaks Healthcare, LLC supports the Activity Director in planning and conducting activities to meet residents' needs, following all standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities include coordinating calendars, arranging transportation, documenting progress, and encouraging resident participation; no supervisory duties are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsabilités

• Participate in planning and conducting individual, small, and group activities.
• Assist in coordinating transportation for residents to appointments, outings, or discharge.
• Develop and maintain monthly activity calendars and attendance records.
• Assist in discharge planning and activity care plans.
• Keep the Activity Department clean, orderly and secured.
