Job summary

You will collaborate with residents, families, and staff to deliver meaningful activities and manage related logistics. Experience with PCA/Med Tech/SIC is preferred, including on-call readiness.

Qualifications

• Completion of the Activities Coordinator Program within six months of employment.
• PCA/Med Tech/SIC experience preferred.
• Able to participate in on-call coverage with management.
• Willingness to cover shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Obtain required certification or provide oversight proof.
• Demonstrate involvement with residents, staff, families, volunteers, and community resources.
• Maintain residents' interests and individualized preferences for each resident.
• Complete activities assessments for all new admissions.
• Plan 14 hours of scheduled activities weekly considering residents' needs.
• Prepare a monthly calendar for planned activities and post in large print.
• Update calendar as needed and provide diverse activities.
• Meet with administrator bi-annually to evaluate program strengths/weaknesses.
• Assist residents with transportation related to activities.
