Job summary

Eduro Healthcare's Eastern Montana Veteran's Home in Glendive, MT is hiring an Activities Assistant to support residents with a diverse program of recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social activities. You will assist the Director of Activities to plan, organize, and direct activities that meet each patient's needs in compliance with laws and care plans.

Qualifications

• Sufficient knowledge and experience in long-term care.
• Minimum 1 year experience as an Activities Assistant.
• Completion of orientation required by company policy.
• Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
• Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
• Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
• Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent.

• Plan, organize, and direct a program of activities which provides opportunity for entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and expression and fulfills basic psychological, social, and spiritual needs which will be available to all residents of the facility.
