Towne Manor West is seeking an Activities/Recreation Aide to support planning, organizing, and directing activity programs for residents. You will help run sports, arts and crafts, and social activities aligned with residents' needs, and prepare progress reports as required.

The role emphasizes compassionate service, teamwork, and active participation in community events. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth within the recreation department.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification per regulatory agencies governing the facility.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning and promoting recreation based on resident needs and interests.
• Encourage social interaction through group activities.
• Provide programs for sensory training, reality orientation, and re-socialization.
• Assist residents with participation in religious programs.
• Attend appropriate in-service training.
