Job summary

Signature HealthCARE, LLC is seeking an Activities Department team member at Monteagle Rehab & Wellness Center. The role focuses on delivering social, emotional, physical and therapeutic activities for residents in a skilled nursing setting.

Schedule is 2 days per week with every other weekend; prior healthcare or CNA experience is a plus, and staff participate in a broad benefits program as part of a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Previous Activities/Healthcare Experience preferred, but not required.
• CNA Preferred, but not required.
• Skilled at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in activities to meet residents’ social, emotional, physical and other therapeutic needs.
• Assist in initiating and promoting activities inside and outside the facility.
• Provide in-room activities for residents unable to attend daily events.
• Assist in creating an ongoing activities calendar.
• Consistently meet State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
• Encourage community involvement when planning activities and events.
