Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services in Hallettsville, TX, seeks an Activity Aide to support the Activity Director in planning and directing residents' activity program at Stevens Nursing and Rehab Center.

You will facilitate activities, assist with scheduling, and help with newsletters and events, ensuring inclusion for all residents including bedfast ones.

This is a full-time, on-site role requiring a high school diploma; CNA preferred; prior long-term care activity experience preferred.

Qualifications

• A school diploma or its equivalent is preferred.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) preferred.
• Experience in activity or recreational department in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual and group activities based on residents' needs.
• Assist with scheduling beauty parlor and barber activities.
• Provide activities for bedfast residents and document in records.
• Prepare monthly activity calendar and post it in accessible areas.
• Assist with producing the facility newsletter.
• Participate in community events related to the facility's interests.
• Assist residents to and from activities.
• Support Residents’ Council and night/weekend activities as needed.
• Deliver resident mail daily.

Education
