Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Activities Assistant or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and scheduling.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and leading recreational and social activities for residents.
• Support the Activities Coordinator in developing activity schedules and materials.
• Encourage resident participation and foster a positive, inclusive environment.
• Help set up and clean up activity areas before and after events.
• Monitor residents during activities to ensure safety and engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
