Job summary

Altercare Nobles Pond in Canton, OH is seeking a Resident Activity Assistant to organize and participate in resident activity programming. The role includes one-to-one interventions, small group facilitation and large group presentations, and supports the Activity Director as needed.

Responsibilities include communicating daily activities to residents, assisting with activities, documenting daily notes, and performing related duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Experience in activities department in a healthcare setting or equivalent
• STNA license is preferred, but we will train

Responsibilities

• Organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one-to-one interventions, small group facilitation and large group presentations
• Assists the resident activity director as needed
• Communicates daily activities to residents and helps residents get to activities
• Documents daily notes and helps with miscellaneous duties that the Activity Director brings forth
