Job summary

Adventist Health Tulare coordinates the residency program to strengthen residents' and fellows' performance by ensuring accreditation standards and educational outcomes are met while promoting organizational strategies and priorities. The role provides technical and operational expertise to design/deploy curricula based on standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Three years of medical education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily operation of the residency program ensuring smooth flow of planning, preparation and execution of activities related to program including financial and budgetary processes, residency recruitment, resident credentialing and education.
• Provides technical and operational support in maintaining curricular and learning systems.
• Maintains program accreditation in accordance with ACGME and other accrediting agencies.
• Builds collaborative relationships with leaders, residents and peers and interacts with executives and physicians.
• Manages the training program budget and assists in development of yearly residency budget; handles grants when applicable.
