Job summary

University of California, Riverside is seeking a 50% FTE Internal Medicine Residency Program Coordinator to manage all aspects of resident recruitment, selection, and onboarding for the Internal Medicine and affiliated programs.

The role includes day-to-day operational support for the residency program, collaboration with Program Directors, and guidance on library privileges, employment, and benefits in collaboration with SOM Human Resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
• Two to four years of experience in graduate medical education or graduate education in a medical school or higher education environment.
• Ability to speak in public and present to various groups.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to develop working relationships within the department and with learners.
• Excellent organizational skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail."

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the resident recruitment and selection process.
• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects for the designated residency program and related fellowships.
• Provide programmatic support to Program Directors and onboarding for residents.
• Serve as a resource to residents for library privileges, employment and benefits matters with SOM Human Resources, and other duties as assigned.
