The New Graduate Nurse Residency Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the facility's Nurse Residency Program, ensuring a smooth transition-to-practice experience for newly licensed nurses. This position serves as a mentor, advocate, resource, and program coordinator while fostering professional growth, engagement, retention, and clinical confidence among nurse residents.
The coordinator works collaboratively with Nursing Leadership, Clinical Educators, Human Resources, Workforce Solutions, Preceptors, Mentors, and department leaders to ensure successful implementation of all program components and best practices. The role promotes a culture of excellence, professional development, and nurse retention while supporting organizational goals and quality outcomes.
Education: High School Diploma or GED. Associate degree preferred.
Certifications: RN License required.
