Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health seeks an Associate Program Director (APD) for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Greenwich Hospital. The APD assists the Program Director in educational, evaluative, academic and administrative duties, and serves as Residency Director of Ambulatory Care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical school.
• ABIM certification in Internal Medicine.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Connecticut (active).
• Active DEA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Director in developing and executing the Residency Program Curriculum.
• Participate in evaluation activities including the Clinical Competency Committee and residents' assessments.
• Recruit residents and participate in the Resident Selection Committee.
• Mentor residents in research, career planning, and scholarly activities.
• Oversee ambulatory and inpatient educational activities and scheduling.
• Coordinate Clerkship Site Director responsibilities and student evaluations.
