Job summary

Adventist Health White Memorial seeks an experienced individual to lead our Internal Medicine Residency Program as Associate Program Director. This role shapes medical education, mentors residents, and advances internal medicine within the institution.

The Associate Program Director will ensure ACGME accreditation, develop and continuously improve a high-quality curriculum, and mentor faculty while promoting scholarly activity and resident education.

Qualifications

• Valid California medical license or eligible to obtain.
• Completed Internal Medicine residency.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine.
• 3–5 years in Internal Medicine education/administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead Residency Education and support institutional and program mission.
• Ensure continuing accreditation per ACGME Institutional, Common and Specialty-Specific requirements and AH policies.
• Develop a comprehensive Internal Medicine curriculum meeting state, JCAHO, ACGME, ABIM and sponsoring institution requirements.
• Mentor teaching faculty and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Recruit and promote a diverse, high-caliber resident body reflective of the community served.
