Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED with one year of related experience.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree with one year related experience preferred.
• Valid NY Driver's License.
• Be flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor.
• Strong passion for working with children and adults with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination and implementation of the residence program.
• Oversee intellectually and developmentally disabled adults and partner with them to meet daily care and development goals.
• Support daily care, foster self-esteem and help individuals meet individualized goals.
• Collaborate with individuals to facilitate daily activities and independence.
• Maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive living environment.
