MVSU International is seeking a live-in supervisor for a residence hall, responsible for supervising staff and students, ensuring a safe living environment, and coordinating housing publications and programs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with experience in Residential Life and strong communication skills, with Master’s preferred. Evening/weekend availability and leadership development duties are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; experience in Residential Life and Student Housing.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to work with students, faculty, administration, and community.
• Complete computer skills including Word and Excel; proficient in email usage.

Responsabilités

• Provide live-in supervision of residence hall facility, staff, and residential students.
• Maintain a safe and secure living environment; monitor hallways and exit doors.
• Coordinate production of Residential Life publications (calendar, handbook) and oversee programs.
• Assist with leadership development efforts (workshops, publications, retreats).
• Participate in long-range planning and policy development; be available for evenings, weekends, and events.
• Advise residence hall councils; serve as a judicial hearing officer and investigate misconduct.
