Job summary

College of Coastal Georgia seeks aDirector of Residence Life and Housing/Deputy Title IX Coordinator to lead the residence life program and oversee student conduct. The role includes supervising staff, managing budgets, and coordinating housing operations, with some weekend/evening commitments and potential live-in housing.

The position is essential personnel and CSA-designated, with an emphasis on learning outcomes and emergency protocol.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree with at least five years of related experience.
• Master's degree with at least three years of higher education experience or related field, preferably in housing or student conduct.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; ability to pass credit and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and supervise Residence Hall Directors and staff.
• Design and implement learning outcomes for residential programming and staff development.
• Oversee budget lines and forecasting for Residence Life and Housing.
• Coordinate department communications across print, web, and social channels.
• Manage openings/closings, inventory, maintenance referrals, and emergency protocols.
• Liaise with StarRez housing management system and oversee room inventory and fee assessments.
• Serve as Deputy Title IX Coordinator and conduct officer; lead Student Conduct processes.
• Participate as Vice Chair on the CARE Team.
