Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• Experience with educational program development, learning outcomes, and assessment is desirable.
• Crisis management experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned residence halls and coordinate daily operations.
• Recruit, train, and supervise Resident Assistants and Graduate Assistants.
• Schedule on-call staff for Resident Assistants and building coverage.
• Collaborate with internal units for opening/closing and intersession.
• Coordinate room reassignments, transfers, and occupancy verification.
• Conduct facility inspections to ensure safe, clean spaces and manage office operations.
• Enforce policies and guidelines for residence halls and staff.
• Implement crisis management and campus emergency procedures.
• Educate residents on campus emergency procedures and evacuations.
• Maintain communication with residents and campus resources.
• Collaborate with area staff for access, mail delivery, and common spaces.
• Serve as primary contact for residents and families; foster belonging.
• Create a residential environment aligning with resources and campus services.
• Serve as Campus Security Authority.
• Develop and implement educational programming within halls.
• Plan a strategic events schedule to support department mission.
• Develop programs promoting academic excellence and community.
• Manage Living Learning Communities and track progress.
• Evaluate learning outcomes and program effectiveness; report findings.
• Assist with recruiting residents and advising student leaders.
• Monitor budgets for educational programming.
• Coordinate area communications aligned with department values.
• Assist with enforcing Student Honor Code & Conduct Code.
