Job summary

The position requires supervisory experience, strong customer service, and the ability to coordinate inventories, scheduling, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising custodial and/or light maintenance activities in commercial, institutional, high density housing, or similar settings or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Experience training and supervising staff (both full time and part-time/temporary staff).
• Proficient experience working with a variety of software applications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety procedures utilized in a custodial position.
• Extensive customer service experience dealing effectively and diplomatically with a variety of people.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the crews in their assigned communities (hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, evaluating, payroll functions, etc).
• Ensures excellent customer service to building patrons and occupants; conducts regular inspections.
• Manages inventories of equipment, chemicals and supplies; orders as needed and coordinates maintenance for equipment.
• Oversees reporting and administrative duties in support of the department.
