Job summary

You will build community, offer programming, advise hall council, manage conduct records in Maxient, and support emergency responses to foster a safe, inclusive living environment for students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed.
• Experience in a leadership role while an undergraduate student.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• A desire to engage with students daily.
• Experience as a member of a team in a work setting.
• Ability to work with a diverse population of students and staff.
• Commitment to maintaining a student development focus in the position.

Responsibilities

• Educational Outreach: Initiating one‑on‑one developmental contact with residents to help them succeed and be retained at UNH.
• Building strong connections with the majority of residents in the building.
• Developing a strong sense of community within a residence hall.
• Providing innovative educational and social programs aligned with the Residential Life Educational Curriculum.
• Connecting students with meaningful learning experiences and leadership opportunities.
• Advising a Hall Council and managing conduct records in Maxient; acting as conduct officer.
• Responding to emergency situations and coordinating with campus resources.
