Job summary

H-E-B in Texas is seeking a Supervisory Merchandising Lead to oversee Reset Merchandising Partners, coordinating store fixture installations for new builds and remodels, including floor fixtures and display equipment.

You will guide schedules, resolve technical issues, ensure plan-o-grams compliance, and work under established policies while traveling regionally as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in all aspects merchandising using Plan-O-Grams with supervisory experience.
• Advanced understanding of fixture placement drawings and blueprint reading.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and H-E-B systems.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Job Summary: Supervise Reset Merchandising Partners who perform merchandising resets and small fixture installations supporting new store construction and store remodels. Store fixture installations include floor fixtures and other store display equipment.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

• Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review
• Acts as advisor to direct reports to resolve technical problems.
• Develops and administers schedules. Sets day-to-day objectives for work team and ensures work is performed consistently within existing policies and procedures.
• Works within established guidelines, processes, and procedures. May recommend improvements to achieve team goals. Providing input in managing costs related to the team/department
• Ensure arrangement and placement of products on the shelves in accordance with blueprints and plan-o-grams (POGs)

Work Experience

• Experience in all aspects merchandising using Plan-O-Grams, including previous Supervisory experience - Required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Advanced understanding of fixture placement drawings and reading blueprint - Required
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office software, H-E-B systems, and designated conference call systems - Required
• Must have the knowledge of, and the ability to use hand tools including power tools - Required

Education

• Technical, vocational, or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of education and/or relevant work experience - Required

Licenses/Certifications

• Completion of H-E-B Management / Leadership programs where applicable (i.e. SORM or ATL). - Required
• Must have a valid driver’s license - Required

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• Travel by car or plane with overnight stays
• Regularly lift up to 20 lbs
• Work in hot/cold environments. Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus)
• Must be able to travel throughout and outside of the Central Texas Region
• Must possess a personal vehicle
