Job summary

Star-Distributing-Co-LLC in the Houston area is seeking a merchandising associate to expand product distribution and improve in-store presence. You will perform cooler resets, build displays, and manage pricing accuracy across assigned accounts.

The role requires proven merchandising success, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic field environment. A valid driver’s license is required for travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Expand distribution by performing cooler resets and building displays.
• Follow daily reset schedules provided by Branch Manager.
• Place POS materials and displays; ensure accurate pricing.
• Provide before/after photos for each reset.
• Coordinate and assist with special events in turf areas.
• Monitor competitive activity and report findings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

To aid in the development of the routes through improved merchandising, better account penetration and improved availability of products distributed through the system. We are looking for candidates in the Houston area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Expand distribution of our products in new and existing accounts by performing cooler resets, warm set resets, and by building displays.
• Reset schedules will be provided by the Branch Manager on a daily basis .
• Place POS materials and display racks throughout assigned territories. All pack-outs must include accurate and proper pricing.
• All resets must be accompanied with a before and after picture.
• Assume other responsibilities and perform special functions as may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
• Assist in the coordination and set up special events in assigned territories.
• Review and identify competitive activity.
• Other duties may be assigned, as needed or required

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Proven success in merchandising
• Ability to maintain strategic working relationships with distributors and accounts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented, self-starter, multi- tasker
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and effortlessly with change
• Solid experience in Merchandising
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• BS Degree preferred
