Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field required.
  • 3–5 years of reservoir engineering experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ARIES and Spotfire preferred.

Additional responsibilities may include assisting with or performing reserves analysis, economic analysis, material balances, and various recovery method analyses.Job Description:Performs economic analysis and evaluations of acquisitions and drilling opportunitiesPursues professional development, builds networks, and collaborates across disciplinesAnalyzes production data trends, leading proposal reviews and reservoir characterization decisionsQuantifies risks and delivers technical recommendations with business impact to leadershipSkills and Experience:Established proficiency in computing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is requiredWorking knowledge of ARIES is requiredWorking knowledge of Spotfire is preferredMust be able to work with large amounts of detailed data with high level of accuracyMust possess the ability to be self-directed while working in a team environmentMust possess strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skillsMust be able to meet established deadlinesMin/Preferred Education Level Description:Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Position typically requires skills normally obtained through the completion of a 4 year degree program in Petroleum EngineeringYears of Experience:3-5 Years 3 minimum; 5 preferred.Working Conditions and Physical Demand:Work is typically performed indoors in an office environment. Incumbents must be able to perform work which includes typing, sitting and standing. In the event that incumbent visits operations worksite, personal protection equipment, including head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, and flame resistant clothing is required. Safety rules including OSHA and DOT requirements are strictly enforced.
