Intermediate/Developmental Level- Under close supervision, incumbents in this role perform routine reservoir engineering assignments to evaluate the value of oil and gas reserves estimates to manage and develop assets. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with or performing reserves analysis, economic analysis, material balances, and various recovery method analyses.
Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Position typically requires skills normally obtained through the completion of a 4 year degree program in Petroleum Engineering
3-5 years 3 minimum; 5 preferred
Work is typically performed indoors in an office environment. Incumbents must be able to perform work which includes typing, sitting and standing. In the event that incumbent visits operations worksite, personal protection equipment, including head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, and flame resistant clothing is required. Safety rules including OSHA and DOT requirements are strictly enforced. Employees must be willing to travel and work extended hours on short notice.
