Job summary

X4 Engineering is seeking an experienced Reservoir Engineer in Houston to lead the building and maintenance of reservoir models and production forecasts. You will guide subsurface studies across exploration, development, and mature-asset appraisal, and support authoritative reserve reporting at the corporate level.

You will present technical findings to senior leadership and regulators, monitor asset performance, and flag emerging risks and opportunities with autonomy and critical thinking.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of deepwater experience.
  • 5+ years in reservoir simulation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering preferred.
  • Proficiency in ECLIPSE/TNav and Kappa PTA.
  • Autonomous and able to present contrarian views.

An international Deepwater Exploration and Production company are on the lookout for an experienced Reservoir Engineer.

This is a chance to join a technically-driven subsurface team working across exploration, development, and mature-asset appraisal — with real influence on final investment decisions and reserves reporting at a corporate level.
