Job summary

Kosmos Energy in Houston is seeking a seasoned reservoir engineer to perform subsurface studies, forecast production, and support annual Reserve reporting. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present conclusions to management and partners.

The role requires deepwater experience, strong modeling skills, and proficiency with Eclipse, TNav, and Petrel. This is a full-time on-site position in Houston.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of deepwater experience.
• 5+ years reservoir simulation experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering preferred.
• Wilcox or Norphlet experience is desired.
• Proficient with Eclipse, TNav, Petrel, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain fit-for-purpose reservoir models and forecast production.
• Identify and quantify key uncertainties, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare reservoir studies presentations for Kosmos-operated projects.
• Review and revise critical assumptions driving reservoir performance.
• Attend weekly operations meetings and contribute as needed.
